Taylor Nichols
Head Boys' Coach / Assistant Girls Coach

Taylor Nichols begins his second year at New Albany High School as Head Boys' Soccer Coach and Assistant Girls' Soccer Coach. This is his first year as Cross Country Coach. A Decatur native, Coach Nichols is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He hold a B.S. in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Social Studies. He also attended East Central Community College where he was a member of the soccer team and an AYSO referee for two years. Coach Nichols is married to Ashley Nichols, a Special Education teacher at North Pontotoc Elementary. They have an English Bulldog, Tink. Coach Nichols teaches World History to 10th graders at New Albany High School.

Head Girls' Coach/Assistant Boys' Coach

Coach Huntington was born and educated in England where he followed in his father's footsteps and learned to play soccer and rugby. After moving to the United States, he had a successful coaching career in Massachusetts where his teams won several championships and many of his players continued their own soccer careers, and one in particular became the number one female soccer referee in the United States. He has coached all age groups, from U10 to high school. Coach Huntington is now enjoying his position as Head Girls Soccer Coach at New Albany High School. He is married to Darlene Huntington and they have four children and seven grandchildren. They enjoy attending their grandchildren's soccer games.
