Ron Price, Head Coach
Coach Ron Price is a native of Corinth, MS and a graduate of Alcorn Central High School. Price attended NEMCC where he was a wide receiver. He is a graduate of Delta State University with a degree in Health & Physical Science. Price was the wide receiver coach at Cleveland High school for the 2001-2002 school year. Coach Price coached football, track, and baseball at New Albany Middle School before coming to the high school in 2006. He has served as the defensive backs coach, head coach for 9th grade team, and boys powerlifting coach. Price was named the head coach for the varsity football team in 2008 and is currently teaching PE and Drivers Education. He is married to Amanda Price, who is the speech pathologist for New Albany Middle School. They have one daughter, Molly Addison. |
Buddy Hall, Head Coach, Middle School Football
Coach Hall is a 1980 graduate of Booneville High School. He received his B.S. in Education from Mississippi State University and his M.A. in Ed. Leadership from the University of Mississippi.
He has 21 years experience in education. He began his career at New Albany High School. During his 12 years at NAHS, he served as a teacher, an assistant and head coach in both football and baseball, and head golf coach. He also served as the high school Athletic Director, Alternative School Director, and Asst. High School Principal.
Coach Hall left New Albany Schools in 1998 and spent four years in the Union County Schools were he served as an assistant principal and principal. In 2001 he went to work for the Prentiss County Schools serving as Alternative School Director, District Transportation Supervisor, and Principal.
He returned to the New Albany Schools this past year where is currently serving as the NAMS Head Football, assistant baseball, and boys' track coach.
He teaches special education mathematics and is a co-sponsor of FCA at New Albany Middle School.
Coach Hall is married to the former Tracy Mayo of New Albany. They have two children, Easton (14) and Elleigh (11). Th y attend Hillcrest Baptist Church where Coach Hall teaches an adult couples Sunday school class and serves as deacon.

Shane Sanderson
High School Athletic Director/Assistant Coach, 9th Grade Football
Coach Sanderson is a 1988 graduate of Ripley High School. He attended Northeast Mississippi Community College where his baseball career came to an end following an automobile accident. He received his B.S. degree in Education from the University of Mississippi and additional studies from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He began his coaching and teaching career at Thrasher High School. When he arrived at Thrasher, the football team was on a seven year losing streak. The Rebels ended their streak in his first season and went on to win several games during his tenure.
While at Thrasher, he coached the junior high football and baseball teams, varsity football and baseball teams, and powerlifting. He had powerlifters to qualify and participate in the state competition each year. In baseball, during his first year as head coach, he led the Rebels to their best season in school history.
He began his tenure at New Albany High School during the 2007-2008 school year, where he was the varsity defensive coordinator and the powerlifting coach for boys and girls. This was the charter season for boys and girls powerlifting. The boys had four lifters qualify for north half. The entire girls' team competed in north half and one lifter advanced to the state championship where she placed 2nd. His new job description requires a little more time so this season he serves as the 9th grade defensive coordinator and will attend as many sporting events as possible.
Coach Sanderson is married to Cathy Sanderson of Booneville. They have two daughters: Summer, 14 and Lenzi, 11. Summer and Lenzi are currently enrolled at New Albany Schools and pleasantly feel right at home.

Rolandus Cox
High School Head Track Coach, Defensive Coodinator for High School Football
Rolandus Cox is Head Coach of the NAHS boys and girls track teams and Defensive Coordinator for the New Albany High School football team. He teaches Health and Drug and Safety Education at New Albany High School.
Coach Cox came to New Albany in 2003 from Shannon High School where he was Defensive Coordinator. He is a 1992 graduate of Cumberland College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree. He and his wife Barbara have two sons and two daughters.

Robert Garrett, Assistant Coach, High School Football
Coach Robert Garrett graduated from Olive Branch High School in 2001 and from the University of Mississippi in 2005 with a degree in Math Education. He is married to Sarah Garrett who teaches 2nd grade at NAES and they have one son, Everett.
He first started his career at West Union Attendence Center teaching Trig/Pre-Cal, Geometry, Transition to Algebra and Pre-Algebra from 2005-2006. He then moved to New Albany Middle School where he taught Pre-Algebra and coached middle school football and high school golf from 2006-2008.
Garrett is
very excited to make the move to NAHS where he will teach Calculus,
Trig/Pre-Cal, Advanced Algebra and Probability/Statistics. He
will also be coaching varsity football as the offensive line
coach and remain the head high school golf coach.

Jalon Bullock
Assistant Coach, 9th Grade Football
Jalon graduated from New Albany High School in 1999. He received his degree in
Social Studies Secondary Education from the University of Mississippi in 2005.
Coach Bullock teaches STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
at the New Albany Vocational Center. He is also the sponsor for TSA (Technology
Students Association). He is happily married
to Christy Whiteside Bullock who is a nurse at Baptist
Hospital

Scott Duley
Assistant Coach
Coach Scott Duley is a science teacher at New Albany High School. He is an
assistant football coach where he serves as defensive coordinator. He is
also head coach of the girls' track team. Duley and his wife Heather have
four children: Hannah, Sarah, William, and Joshua. They live in the
Keownville community and attend Christ Community Church. |
Jay Cossey
Head
9th grade football coach
Coach Cossey graduated from Alcorn Central High School in 1991 where he was a
member of the football and baseball teams. He received his bachelor of science
degree in chemistry and physics education from Mississippi State University in
1995 and his master of arts in Christian education from Mid-America Baptist Theological
Seminary in 2002. He has coached middle school, high school, and community sports
since 1996. Coach Cossey is married to Kyra Cossey who is the counselor at New
Albany High School. They have two children: Logann and Meredith. |
Jamie Coleman, Assistant Football Coach, Middle School
Jamie Coleman is a 2003 graduate of New Albany High School and a 2007 graduate
of the University of Mississippi. Coach Coleman teaches Pre-Algebra and serves
as assistant football coach at New Albany Middle School where he is working
with the offensive and defensive lines.

Larry
Ashmore
Head Middle School Baseball Coach, Assistant Football Coach
Coach Ashmore is a 1971 graduate of W.P. Daniel High School in New Albany. He
received his B. S. in Education from the University of Mississippi.
Coach Ashmore is starting his 10th year in the New Albany School District. He
has served the district as teacher and coached various sports at the Middle School
and High School levels. He is currently teaching Middle School Social Studies
and is head Middle School baseball and Assistant football coach.
Coach Ashmore is married to the former Linda Russell of New Albany. They have
two children. One son John Ashmore, married to Brandi now living in Oxford, MS
and a daughter Angela who is a junior at the University of Mississippi. |
Josh Davis, Assistant
Football Coach
Coach Davis enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Bulldogs. Before coming to New Albany he was an assistant coach at Biggersville High School. Coach Davis is a Ripley native where he graduated in 1999. He then attended the University of Mississippi where he received his Bachelor's degree. His wife, Shonda, also attended the University of Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Accountancy. She is currently employed at Lindsey, Davis & Associates. They have two sons: Cade, 6 and Cooper, 3.
