Warner Creekmore (left) was among the nineteen coaches from across the state of Mississippi that was recognized Thursday, April 11 at the Mississippi High School Athletics Association Office as the NFHS-Mississippi Girls Tennis Coach of the Year for the 2011-12 school year.

The New Albany High School Tennis Team are the 2013 District 2 Region 2 Champions and received their trophy on Tuesday, April 9 at BNA Bank Park Tennis Complex. The team went undefeated in division play with a record of 5-0. The New Albany Tennis Team is Division Champs for six consecutive years.

The New Albany High School Bulldog Football Team will be well represented at the Northeast Mississippi All-Star Classic Football game at Corinth on May 22. Three Bulldog football players, Austin Howard, O.J. Hardin, and Devonte Bradley will be playing for the West team. NAHS Head Football Coach Ron Price will coach the West team. NAHS Girls Powerlifting team members participating in the North Half Division Meet included l-r: Kenya Mosley, Mary Scott Waldrop, & Leeta Ann Prater. Prater placed 2nd in her weight class and Mosley placed third in her weight class. These two individuals will represent NAHS in Jackson at the State Meet on April 13.
